What is SCANcart?
SCANcart is a high-speed mobile scanning station that indexes, scans, and electronically routes paper documents to a local (internal or removable) drive. It’s a complete scanning solution that needs no network connection.

How does SCANcart work?
SCANcart contains a stand-alone server, a Twain-enabled high-speed scanner, printer, removable USB hard drive, and a PC equipped with many of the features of AutoStore capture and processing technology. To get started all you have to do is:
- Enter indexing information.
- Print out a barcode separator sheet (indexing information is embedded in the barcode).
- Place the separator sheet on top of each batch of documents.
- Push the “Scan” button.
- View scanned documents and, if needed, make adjustments to the images.
- Save scanned documents to the removable USB hard drive. Images are saved in PDF, RTF (MS Word Compatible) or Tiff formats.
Scan Smart with SCANcart
If you have a warehouse full of records that need archiving, simply roll the SCANcart unit into the room, configure it to your business requirements, and start scanning. The current scanner package has a 500 page automatic document feeder, scans 110 pages per minute, and accommodates up to 100,000 pages per daily duty cycle.
